If you enjoy a farm-like experience and living in a State Park Natural Area, this position may be for you.  This position requires the operation of a tractor, weed trimmer, deck mower, and backpack blower to perform various landscaping duties at our day use areas, roads, and trails. Primary duties in fall consist of assisting with the maintenance and winterization of equipment and facilties in preperation for the winter.  Other duties will include covering days for other hosts and special projects assigned by ranger staff.  The host site is located near the shopyard at a quiet and low key district office surrounded by the Luckiamute State Natural Area and neighboring farms. We are located between the small towns of Albany and Independence.  Visitor interaction is very low.
