Park Description
Maud Williamson is a 24-acre park donated in 1937 by Maud Williamson in memory of her mother. The park
includes a historic farm house once occupied by Maud Williamson. The farmhouse, The Maud Williamson
house, is located near the park entrance and is one of the oldest Oregon State Park managed structure and
dates back to the 1860s! Public amenities include a covered picnic shelter which can be reserved for group
picnics. Volleyball and horseshoes are available for groups renting the picnic shelter. Large second-growth
Douglas Fir trees tower overhead providing shade and excellent conditions for wildflowers in the early spring,
including trilliums.
Host Assignment
• Day Use Host: Open and close gates, general grounds maintenance, mowing, blowing, checking
restrooms, helping with reservations.

AT&T works well, but most carriers should provide good coverage.
Internet Access
No internet access is provided.
Satellite/TV Reception
No issues.
Laundry Facilities
There is a washer and dryer are on site.
RV Dump Stations
None, site has sewer hook-up.
Host Mail and Deliveries
There is no mail delivery on site and no secure location for packages to be delivered. Packages and mail can
be delivered to Management Unit Office, but there is a lag time in getting them delivered to Park.
Staff On-Site
No Park Staff report to Maud Williamson. Staff visit regularly.
