Join us at Champoeg as we celebrate what life was like for early Oregon farmers on the French Prairie. Come see the skills and trades of the 19th century portrayed by our volunteer staff in period clothing. Activities will include: Children's games of the 1800's; story telling; blacksmith and tinsmith demonstrations; carpenters and wood workers; medicinal plants from the garden; cooking demonstrations; learn about our threshing barn; lace making, live music and much more. COST: $5 per vehicle parking fee or free with an annual Oregon State Parks Pass or camping permit.
