Yurt/Cabin Host

Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park

Needed From February 1, 2021
Needed To April 30, 2021

Yurt Hosts at Honeyman State Park will assist park staff by cleaning up to 5 of our Rustic Yurts each day and assist our campsite maintenance hosts on busy checkout days. Additional campground maintenance tasks and projects may be assigned on days when there are no or few yurts to clean. All hosts will also interact with the public by providing customer service and information so welcoming, inclusive and positive attitudes are required!.

Honeyman State Park is the second largest OPRD campground (by number of campsites) and is located just south of Florence on the central Oregon coast surrounded by dunes, coastal forests, the Siuslaw River and many beautiful fresh water lakes; all full of wonderful recreational opportunities. Honeyman is also within 15 minutes of 2 large chain grocery stores and many nice restaurants in Old Town Florence on Bay Street. The Autumn months are a beautiful time to spend on the central Oregon Coast.

Please contact the host coordinator for more information or if you have any questions about the position; we look forward to hearing from you!

Some parks are open for day-use and camping, with reduced services. Check the Park Status Map and FAQ for details. Campfire restrictions may be in place.
