Valley of the Rogue State Park is located off the I-5 along the beautiful Rogue River. The 277 acre park is comprised of a variety of mature trees, and includes a Rogue River Green Way trail over 1 ¼ miles long. The park features 98 full hook-up sites, 55 electrical sites, 4 tent sites, 8 yurts, 3 group camp sites, and a meeting hall. The park also features a boat ramp, rest area, and picnic areas. In addition to camping services, the park regularly accommodates a variety of special events including weddings, family reunions, and track-and-field events.

Volunteer host positions are a valued and integral component of the Valley of the Rogue State Park team. The following lists are meant to be representative of the duties that comprise the Valley of the Rogue Host positions. Position duties vary and may change depending on the time of year, staffing levels, the specific interests and talents possessed by individual park hosts and the specific location (site) you are assigned.

This position is primarily focused on leaf control and removal.  The successful applicant will be required to rake, leaf blow, mulch, and remove leaf piles from the camp loops. Additional agreed upon tasks may also be assigned.
