Jasper Point Campground

Campground at Prineville Reservoir State Park near Bend, Oregon, United States
mdi-tent Reserve

Jasper Point campground is one of two campgrounds at Prineville Reservoir State Park.  Small and quiet, the park has 27 first-come, first-served campsites with electricity and water hook ups. The lake is just a short walk from the campsites, with some having waterfront views. Follow a 1¾-mile lakeside hiking trail to main campground.

Jasper Point has its own two-lane boat ramp and courtesy dock for boat access to the lake.  A trailhead for hiking into the State Wildlife area is located inside the camp.

Panorama view: To the northeast of the park, on Highway 126 west of Prineville, you can drive or walk up to Ochoco State Scenic Viewpoint and be rewarded with a panorama of ponderosa pine forests, juniper grasslands and the Ochoco Mountains. The viewpoint is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. See the map on the brochure below.
