Jasper Point is open for day-use. 

  • Jasper Point and Powder House Cove ramps closed, due to low water. (See the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation website  for water levels).
  • Reduced garbage service. Please pack out trash. 
  • Be prepared to turn around if crowded. Do not travel far to visit.
  • Facilities may close without notice.


Camping is first-come, first-served. Note the following reduced services:

  • 28 electrical sites with water (two with accessible design)
  • One pet-friendly rustic log cabin with a toilet (no shower). Three person maximum occupancy. CLOSED
  • Flush toilets and hot showers
  • Boat ramp
  • RV dump station
  • 1¾-mile lakeside hiking trail to main campground

Jasper Point campground is one of two developed campgrounds at Prineville Reservoir State Park.  It has 27 first-come, first-served campsites with electricity and water hook ups.  The lake is just a short walk from the campsites, with some having water front views.  There are flush toilets and hot showers available.  An RV dump station is on site.

The park also has a two lane boat ramp and courtesy dock for boat access to the lake.  A trail head for hiking into the State Wildlife area is located inside the camp.
