Campfires are banned on all beaches. The ban includes wood, charcoal briquettes, candles, tiki torches and other devices that emit flames or embers. Propane stoves and other cooking devices that have an immediate shutoff valve are allowed for cooking only.

History

The land was obtained between 1960 and 1976 through litigation and purchase to protect the ocean frontage and provide public beach access and viewpoints.
