COVID-19 UPDATE: The Historic Area is open for limited daytime use. This includes the batteries, Jetty Trail, disc golf course and restrooms. Follow signs to Historic Area Entrance via Pacific Dr. No other area of Fort Stevens is open. Museum closed. No camping.
Be prepared to turn around if crowded. Bring your own water, food and hand sanitizer. Do not travel far to visit. Facilities may close without notice.

Seasonal beach restrictions are in effect March 15 - Sep. 15 on Clatsop Spit, west of the Fishermen’s Beach access to the South Jetty, during nesting season for the western snowy plover. Foot and equestrian traffic on wet sand only; all other recreation prohibited. Information: oregon.gov/plovers.
