Reserve for a group or event

Let us be your base camp for your next reunion or retreat! We have group camping areas, picnic shelters, and meeting halls to accommodate groups of any size. You can search for all reservable group sites at oregonstateparks.reserveamerica.com.

Picnic Shelters and Meeting Halls

The perfect setting for your next family reunion, birthday, or corporate outing, our picnic shelters accommodate small and large groups depending on location. Group picnic facilities are available for walk-in use if they are not reserved.

Meeting halls are another great option for group events or off-site business meetings. Most offer heat, restrooms, kitchen facilities, and picnic tables outside.

Group Camping Areas

Our group tent areas accommodate about 25 campers and are typically located away from the main campground to give your group some privacy. Water and restrooms are nearby, and each area is generally equipped with several picnic tables and a fire pit.

We also have two group RV areas at Champoeg and Fisherman's Point (in Fall Creek State Recreation Area). These sites have large, open space with electrical hookups, picnic tables, fire pits, and nearby water and restrooms.

Reserving Multiple Campsites

If you don´t want or need a large group camping area, your group can simply reserve a block of campsites at any state park campground that accepts reservations. If your group reserves and uses 20 or more sites together, you may qualify for our event discount program.

Event Discount

Depending on availability, your group is entitled to free use of a meeting hall for one day if your reservations are at Beverly BeachBullards BeachLaPineSouth BeachSunset Bay, or Valley of the Rogue. The free meeting hall is not available on the last day of your stay (see more details below).

With event camping, one member of your group must assume the duties of Event Coordinator. That person is responsible for making the reservations by calling 800-452-5687, paying the fees, assigning sites to campers within the group (and returning that information to the reservation center no later than two months before your visit), and taking care of extra vehicle fees.

Event Camping Details

Event camping is available in any reservable Oregon state park campground. Campers must reserve a minimum of 20 campsites, yurts, cabins and/or horse camps.  The dates of these reservations must overlap each other for at least 1 night during the entire period that is being reserved. Event camping reservations must be made 10 or more days before the first arrival date in the group.

Event camping for at least one night entitles your group to one day free use of a group meeting hall if one is available at the park (except Silver Falls North Falls Lodge, Champoeg, and Honeyman). You must use the free day during your reservation period (except for your departure date).

Each site reserved is charged a non-refundable $8.00 reservation fee. If the total number of sites reserved falls below the required minimum, and you have the use of a meeting hall for free, you will have to pay for the meeting hall, including the reservation fee, should you choose to keep it.
