On this 1-mile hike, we will see America's oldest Pacific yew tree and blue heron colonies, as well as learn about salmon migration and identify conifer vs deciduous trees. We will also stop at our neighborhood Clackamas Fish Hatchery to feed some nursery smolts.
Trail description: Gravel trail alongside Clackamas River and Dog Creek. No elevation gain. Trail not suitable for baby strollers.
Dogs must be on a leash.
