Join us for this easy, 2-mike hike with 50-foot elevation gain. Ever wanted a behind-the-scenes tour of a campground? Join our ranger and discover what special treasures can be found in a slumbering winter campground. Everything from tiny ice skyscrapers to shoreline footprints. We’ll also explore areas burned in the 2020 fire and see how they are recovering.
Be sure to wear shoes to keep your feet warm and dry in case of snow! Please have your dog on a leash. The conditions may not be good for baby strollers.
If you plan to attend, please call the park ranger phone at 503-872-5271 and leave your contact information. We will let people know if the weather is too bad for a hike.
