  • The approximate 1-mile walk is around the Harris Beach day-use area and campground and will focus on the natural beauty of the South Coast.
  • The walk is on dirt, gravel and some road surfaces and includes moderate inclines in two areas. The trail portion is approximately two feet wide. Some trails may be unsuitable for wheeled mobility devices, including the beach, potential muddy trails, and some grades that might make manually operated wheel devices difficult to use.
  • No dogs, please.
  • Participants should dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water and snacks, as well as a camera or binoculars for wildlife viewing.
  • Contact the park office at 541-469-0224 for more information.

If you have questions about access or to request any reasonable accommodations needed for your participation, please contact Park Ranger Ian Hannum, 541-661-3054 or Park Ranger Jessica Henize, 541-251-8255. Requests must be submitted at least three days prior to January 1.
