All activities take place in the South Falls Day-use area unless noted*

Ongoing Activities Saturday and Sunday, 10 am–4 pm

- Wildflower Show in the Stone Kitchen Shelter

- Educational discovery tables throughout the South Falls Historic District:

  • Plant a native plant from seed to take home with you
  • Learn why insects are so important for birds
  • Discover how lighting, windows, and pets affect bird populations

- Native Plant Sale at the Nature Store

Scheduled activities

7:30 am Early Bird Walk at South Falls: 2.6 miles, 3 hours, meet at Stone Circle

10:30 am  Budding Birders Junior Ranger Program, 45 minutes, meet on back patio of South Falls Lodge

11 am Wildflower Walk: ½ mile, 1 hour, meet at Stone Circle

12 pm Wildflower Walk: ½ mile, 1 hour, meet at Stone Circle

12 pm Live Raptor Presentation in the field behind the Stone Circle (no dogs please)

1 pm Live Raptor Presentation in the field behind the Stone Circle (no dogs please)

1 pm Family Birding Walk: ½ mile, 1 hour, meet at Stone Circle

2 pm: Wildflower Walk: ½ mile, 1 hour, meet at Stone Circle

3 pm Afternoon Birding Walk, 1 mile, 90 minutes, *meet at Smith Creek Village parking lot, across highway 214 from the South Falls District
