Light pollution is the excessive or misdirected artificial light that brightens the night sky, disrupting eco-systems, wasting energy, and obscuring our view of the stars. It effects wildlife, human health, and our environment. Simple solutions like using shielded fixtures and reducing unnecessary lighting can help restore natural darkness. Join the Ranger at the Discovery Center Amphitheater to learn more on how we can work together to protect our night skies!

Amphitheater is located across from the Main Registration Booth at the Discovery Center.
