Welcome the New Year with Oregon State Parks on a guided First Day Hike to Lower Latourell Falls in the Columbia River Gorge! Led by volunteer guides from the OSU Certified Naturalist program, this outing invites visitors to connect with nature, enjoy the beauty of Oregon's winter landscape, and discover the natural and cultural stories of the Gorge.
Participants will explore the forested surroundings of Latourell Creek and enjoy views of the spectacular Lower Latourell Falls while learning about the area's ecology, geology, and connections between people and place. This guided experience celebrates outdoor recreation, environmental stewardship, and the simple joy of beginning the year outdoors.
