The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) and the concessionaire managing the Silver Falls Lodge and Conference Center have mutually agreed to end the contract Dec. 1, 2020. Urban Park Concessionaires dba Basecamp Hospitality was dedicated to providing high-quality service and the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) sincerely thanks them for their partnership during the past six years.
All 2021 reservations are canceled for the conference center, dining halls, group event buildings, and the Upper Smith Creek cabins. Basecamp Hospitality is issuing full refunds for all reservations.
Moving forward, OPRD is exploring options with other service providers to provide limited services in the coming year. When more information and a suite of services is final, the department will contact those who held reservations for 2021. You will have the first opportunity to make a new reservation if a service or facility becomes available.
