Milo McIver State Park

Do you like to fish on your free time, kayak on a lazy river, or comrade around a campfire next to a lake; than you might want to be a Host for Milo McIver State Park at Estacada Lake.  Milo McIver State Park has been around for over 50 years and our lake access is one of its main focal points. Enjoy bustling weekends and calm peaceful nights next to Estacada lake while hosting for Milo McIver. Enjoy scenic views of the Clackamas river, the River Mill Dam, and Estacada Lake; don’t hesitate to apply now.

General responsibilities:

  • Maintenance at PGE/Extacada Lake, Riverside Areas and satellite parks/trails.  COVID guidelines restrictions are in effect and will be used around staff and visitors.
  • Riverside Day Use areas, mowing when needed, clean stand up BBQ grills, litter pick up, include parking lot, and daily Dog Creek trail monitor.
  • Using gas power equipment and hand tools (i.e. JD 1435 mower, pressure washer, weed-eaters, hedgers, loupers, gator, etc.).
  • Day Use Shelter cleaning (sink, countertops, cement pad, etc) and litter pick up around the area.
  • Check Estacada Lake vault R/R twice daily for paper check and litter on the floor. No chemical cleaning.
  • Blowing off roadways, pathways and trails using various types of blowers.
  • Will assist with the other host on park's roadside and Disc Golf Course litter pick up.
  • Cazadero Trail and Bonnie Lure: Litter/garbage run trails and at trailheads
  • Equipment Repair; disable equipment. delivery and parts pick up from vendors.
  • Invasive species removal: i.e. blackberries
  • Various projects which could be assisting park staff.
