Come join our team at one of Oregon's largest and newest state parks!  We are trying to fill host positions in November, December 2021 and January 2022. You could express interest in either 1, 2, or 3-month assignments.  Please contact Stanley Petersen asap for more info.

Cottonwood Canyon State Park is nestled in a deep Canyon surrounded by towering cliffs, abundant wildlife such as Big Horn Sheep, Deer, birds, fish, etc. Fantastic trails to hike or bike right next to the John Day River. Peaceful and gorgeous dark nights (little light pollution).   

Campground/Cabin Hosts will be responsible to assist in Park operations such as: provide information and assist park visitors, clean cabins and campsites, and trash removal, and other special projects.
