Volunteers and Hosts are the backbone of OPRD and here at Milo McIver State Park we stand by that each and every day!

Do you like to fish on your free time, kayak on a lazy river, or comrade around a campfire next to a lake; than you might want to be a Host for Milo McIver State Park!
Situated along the scenic Clackamas River, Milo McIver State Park is only 45 minutes from Portland. This beautiful park provides a variety of outstanding recreational opportunities
The park has been around for over 50 years and our river and lake access are two of its main focal points.
Enjoy bustling weekends and calm peaceful nights with a premier camp site that connects you to the heart of Milo McIver's trail system. Enjoy scenic views of the Clackamas river, the River Mill Dam, and Estacada Lake.

Campground Host Duties:
As a Campground Host your duties include but are not limited to;
Respond to visitor, staff, and volunteer requests in an attentive and respectful manner.
Assist with campground and cabin guest check-in and checkout. Hang reservation tags, tidy camp sites, check restrooms and restock.
Perform general cleaning and servicing of campsites (future cabin sites); including: restocking bathrooms, emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down counters and sinks.
Alert staff to safety issues, facility issues, and major cleaning needs.
Provide general site maintenance, including cleaning out fire pits, cleaning gas grill, light landscaping, and sweeping.
Keeping the camp loops and trails clean (blowing parking pads, lots and trails) Operate utility vehicles (golf carts, gators, etc.).
