Please join us for a moderate skill level 3 mile hike accompanied by a Park Ranger. Meet in the front of the Historic Lodge near Cleawox lake, where the hike will start at 10 A.M. sharp and should last roughly two-three hours. Enjoy views of Cleawox lake and the native flora and fauna on the trail. Children 10 years of age and up are reccomended. Terrain is dirt and uneven ground with tree roots and other obsacles. Due to terrain, strollers and mobility devices are not recommended.
BRING: Gloves, rain gear (just in case), a sweatshirt or jacket, and drinking water. Sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants, hiking sticks and a hat are recommended.
DIRECTIONS: Highway 101 SOUTH from Florence. Turn RIGHT at Jessie M. Honeyman State Park. Turn right towards the Histoic Cleawox lodge and pass through large wooden log gate. Follow road to where you come to the historic Cleawox lodge.
