Want to be a Camp Host at Sunset Bay State Park?  We’d love for you to come join our team! Park Rangers rely on dedicated volunteers to perform a number of tasks in order to maintain the high level of service that makes our parks so great!

Situated in one of the most scenic areas on the Oregon coast, Sunset Bay State Park features beautiful sandy beaches protected by towering sea cliffs. Only a short walk from the beach, the campground has sites for tent camping and RV's, as well as 8  yurts. Day-use and picnic facilities are located along the bay to allow easy access for beachcombing, fishing, and boating.

A network of hiking trails connects Sunset Bay with nearby Shore Acres and its beautiful formal garden that is sure to impress, as well as Cape Arago State Park. Hiking these trails will give you a chance to experience pristine coastal forests, seasonal wildflowers and spectacular ocean vistas from atop the rugged cliffs and headlands.

Your host site is located in the Sunset Bay campground and offers full hook up,30/50 amp,  WIFI, no cell service, and  host only laundry facility. Hosting duties included, but not limited to: Cleaning camp sits, litter picking, clean fire pits, blow camp sites clean, mow, trim shrubs, sell firewood, fill brochure racks, restroom checks/fill paper products(no cleaning), and provide visiotrs with information about our state parks and surrounding area. You will work 4-6 hours a day 5 days a week.
